Thank you for visiting us. McGrogan's Military Patch Designs, LLC came into being in 1982 on a bet between 2 sailors one involving Don McGrogan. Don, a 28 year veteran of the US Navy and now a retired E-8, participated in this bet regarding patches and after a while he decided that after completing his long career with the US Navy that patch collecting, a fascinating hobby for Don, could also be developed into a wonderful business as well. Thus, McGrogan's was born. Several years later, Randy Sweet, Don's step-son, also a former member of the US Navy, joined forces with Don and the business and their long lasting relationship was cemented. Don and Randy have always loved the comraderie of soldiers, their families and those currently serving in our Armed Forces. Their interest in supporting these many men and women by providing vibrant and very accurate renditions of their lost insignia of their many years of service is what drove Don and Randy in their support. "We wanted to make sure these heroes had every opportunity to find and have their unit patches returned to them to help restore their fond memories of those loved and lost or those still with us wanting to complete their collections," states Don. "They are why we are here, reiterates Randy. Four years ago, Todd Gilbert, a Marine, joined Don and Randy and with his shared vision and a common desire to help these special men and women a long-lasting friendship was born.
